Physiology and neuroscience graduate student Ryan Rakoczy hopes to develop better treatments for prematurely born infants and others with breathing ailments.
Jason Deibel, Ph.D. was promoted to Associate Professor in 2013. His research interests include ultrafast and terahertz spectroscopy and imaging, computational electromagnetics, and the characterization of novel materials.
The celebration culminates with a special Homecoming Oct. 1, featuring multiple affinity reunions, including one for the university's founding classes.
Huntington's disease (HD) is a progressive and fatal genetic disorder characterized by severe motor and cognitive defects. The disease is caused by an expansion of CAG repeats in the Huntingtin gene.
