Christopher Wyatt, Ph.D., was born in Manchester, England. He received a bachelor's degree in pharmacology in 1991 from the University of Bath, UK, and a Ph.D. in neuropharmacology in 1994 from the University of Leeds, UK.
He worked as a postdoctoral research scientist at University College London, the University of Oxford and St Andrews University in Scotland. In 2007, he took an assistant professor position in the Department of Neuroscience, Cell Biology and Physiology (NCBP) at Wright State University and moved his family to the United States.
